Dates & Visits

We have several different options for dates and visits! During these times, your dog can explore us at their own pace, enjoy engaging food puzzles and fun toys, and snuggle up on the couch (if they would like).

Get To Know You Dates are ideal for dogs who need a little extra time to warm up before their overnight boarding stay. These gentle introductions help your dog feel safe and relaxed with their newest favorite person, sometimes in a new space. I have found that 2 hours is the ideal amount of time for these kinds of sessions.

Day Boarding is a 4+ hour visit at our southeast Austin home or yours.

Drop-In Visits are 30-minute sessions at your house. Going to the hill country or having a long day at work? Have us come to your house to do potty, food, water, play, and cuddles.

Prior to becoming a new Sunflower Dog Care pet family, we require a few things to determine if it is a good fit for all of us, and to best understand your and your pets needs. We will need proof of up-to-date Rabies and DAPP/DHPP vaccines, provide more info about your pets, and sign our legal waiver. Then if all goes well, we will do a one-hour evaluation ($50). (Travel fees apply, if driving to your home is over 30 minutes.)
