Where is boarding located?
We offer two locations for boarding. Our home-style boarding is located at Melissa's home in Northwest Austin, 78727, and at Jenna's home in Southeast Austin, 78744 - on the way to the airport! Both homes have large backyards and privacy fences
What is included in boarding?
Feeding, fresh water, medication administration, several enriching backyard outings, daily food enrichments, daily walk, and lots of love (cuddling is desired).
What time is check-in and check-out for boarding/housesitting?
Boarding is 24/7 from 1pm to 1pm. Drop off and pick up times are flexible!
There is an additional fee of $75 for early drop-off or late pick-up.
How do I schedule an evaluation?
Use the link to our customer portal to complete the following steps:

Send vaccine/titer records to hello@sunflowerdogcare.com to be manually reviewed and approved

Once verified, we will send you a password reset email for Gingr, our scheduling portal

Complete dog profile(s) in Gingr located on the Home page

How do I reserve boarding/housesitting?​

Complete a successful one-hour evaluation at one of our homes or yours (depending upon services requested)

Pay a 50% deposit (all payments can be made to Venmo @sunflowerdogcare)

How can I pay?
Venmo @sunflowerdogcare is the best way to pay. There is also an option to add a tip prior to checkout.

What are your holiday rates?
The holiday rate is an additional 25% fee for days leading up to and following major holidays, including Spring Break, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.
What is your cancellation policy?
A full refund will be provided with at least four weeks notice.
A 50% deposit refund will be provided with at least 2 weeks notice.
What should I bring for boarding?
Food, medication/supplements, treats, chews, blanket and/or bed, favorite toy(s), collar, harness, crate (if applicable). We will provide bowls and more enrichment.
What can I add on to boarding and house-sitting to enhance my dog’s experience?
You can add many different services to tailor your dog’s experience to your needs. Services that you can add include: second walks, bath, nail trim, transportation, errands, and more!

Why aren't my vaccine records uploading/verifying?
It may seem like your upload did not work, however it likely did! We manually verify your records and update the system as soon as we can. Email us at hello@sunflowerdogcare.com if you have any questions or concerns.
