Where is boarding located?

Boarding is located at Jenna’s home in southeast Austin, 78744 - on the way to the airport! The oversized backyard has a deck and a 6-foot cedar privacy fence.

 

What is included in boarding?

Feeding, fresh water, medication administration, several enriching backyard outings, daily food enrichments, daily walk, and lots of love (cuddling is desired). 

 

What time is check-in and check-out for boarding/housesitting?

Drop off is after 4 pm and pick up is at 3 pm. We are happy to care for your dog(s) outside of these times, an additional fee of $75/1 dog and $125/2+ dogs will be charged for early drop-off or late pick-up. 

 

How do I schedule an evaluation?

How do I reserve boarding/housesitting?

  • Provide up-to-date vaccine records or titer test verification for Rabies and Distemper/Parvo to hello@sunflowerdogcare.com

  • Successful one-hour evaluation at my house or yours (depending upon services requested)

  • Pay a 50% deposit (all payments can be made to Venmo @sunflowerdogcare)

  • Boarding/Housesitting scheduled in Gingr (Customer Portal)

 

How do I schedule walks, play dates, or trainings?

For now, please email or text us to schedule play dates. Walks and trainings can be scheduled via Gingr.

 

How can I pay? 

Venmo @sunflowerdogcare is the best way to pay. There is an option to add a tip prior to checkout.

What are your holiday rates?

The holiday rate is an additional $75 per night for days leading up to and following major holidays, including Spring Break, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. 

 

What is your cancellation policy?

A full refund will be provided with two weeks notice before a stay, and four weeks notice before a major holiday.
 

What should I bring for boarding?

Food, medication/supplements, treats, chews, blanket and/or bed, favorite toy, collar and/or harness. I will provide bowls and more enrichment. 

 

What can I add on to boarding and house-sitting to enhance my dog’s experience?

You can add many different services to tailor your dog’s experience to your needs. Services that you can add include: positive training, walks, sessions, bath, transportation, errands, and more!

Why aren't my vaccine records uploading/verifying?

It may seem like your upload did not work, however it likely did. We will manually verify them and update the system within 24 business hours. Email us at hello@sunflowerdogcare.com if you have questions.
